The MSU Political Science Department hosts the Editorial Offices of the American Journal of Political Science, with Professor William Jacoby serving as Editor. The AJPS is the official journal of the Midwest Political Science Association and it publishes groundbreaking research across all subfields of political science. Under Professor Jacoby’s editorship, the AJPS has taken the lead in promoting the principles of data access and research transparency. The Journal is recognized throughout the scientific research community for its rigorous Replication and Verification Policy. The AJPS currently is rated the top journal in the political science discipline, according to the Thompson-Reuters Two-Year Impact Factor and the Google Scholar h5-index. The presence of the AJPS at MSU clearly attests to the high quality of the scholarly environment within the Political Science Department.
