Associate Professor Cristina Bodea cited in recent Financial Times article

The Financial Times published an article titled “Global political backlash spreads against central banks” where the department of political science associate professor Cristina Bodea was quoted saying the following, “Recent years have seen a spate of clashes, which can have serious consequences, according to Cristina Bodea, associate professor at Michigan State University, who has studied the issue. She said that “major disagreements between the central bank and the government . . . raise doubts about countries’ future prospects” which can show in their credit ratings and subsequent cost of borrowing.”
