November 10 CREW Presents Ezra Brooks “Practical Data Science with R”

CREW (Class, Race and Ethnicity Workshop) presents a lecture by Ezra Brooks.  CREW is sponsored by the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University.  Ezra Brooks is a data scientist at MSU.  His previous work experience includes the HathiTrust Digital Library at University of Michigan, Pediatric Emergency Medicine research at Wayne State University, and the Higher Education Analytics Research Lab at MSU. He is a co-founder of the MSU R User Group, and is involved in data science initiatives throughout the university community.

This is the second of four workshops on using R for
data analysis. Future workshops will be for
intermediate and advanced users. Attendees should
have R and RStudio installed on their computer (even
if they haven’t used them yet). both are FREE. Mac
OS X and Windows are both fine.
