November 7 CREW and School of Criminal Justice Presents William Isaac “Hope, Hype, and Fear” The Promise and Potential Pitfalls of the Artificial Intelligence in Criminal Justice”

CREW (Class, Race and Ethnicity Workshop presents a lecture by William Isaac.  CREW is sponsored by the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University.  William Isaac is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University where he studies American politics and public policy.  HE is a 2017 Open Society Foundation Fellow and currently serves as a Research Consultant to the Human Rights Data Analysis Group (HRDAG).  His research focuses on the interaction between technology policy, human, and civil rights, with a specific focus on their potential ramifications on underrepresented communities.
