Manzella, Joe
A 2008 Graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Joe worked for two years as the System Planner at the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) before leaving to join the Lansing Economic Area Partnership as the Manager of Regional Programs in May of 2010. In his day job, Joe works with progressive business leaders to bring positive and transformative change to Greater Lansing by way of community-based economic development. By night, Joe serves as the vice president of Accelerate Lansing – a non-profit for civic engagement. Joe continues to serve the planning profession as a member of the Michigan Association of Planners Government Relations Committee. He also serves as the vice president of the MSU Lambda Chi Alpha, Gamma Omicron Zeta, scholarship and housing foundation.
