Park, Young Shin

Young Shin Park completed her undergraduate study in international relations at University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia in 2005. Her primary interests focus on security issues ranging from national defense policy to international security. She also has a strong interest in human rights. She did internship with various national and international organs for human rights policy, including National Human Rights Commission of Korea and Asian Pacific Forum in Sydney where she did research on international displaced persons and illegal imprisonment in South Asia. She then pursued her career in international cooperation department at a university until she joined MPP program in fall 2010. She is anticipated to graduate in May 2012. Upon completion of the program, Young Shin plans to pursue a PhD degree in international relations hopefully with special focus on policy design to address human security and international insurgency.
