Kerr, Nicholas

Nick Kerr is a third-year grad student at MSU.  Originally from Jamaica, he graduated from Williams College with a double major in international relations and economics.  In addition to his studies, he traveled to South Africa in 2002 to conduct research on ethnic violence.  Nick is interested in democratization, political institutions, clientelism and political corruption in Sub-Saharan Africa. More specifically, Nicholas examines the role that Electoral Governance plays in the ensuring the credibility and legitimacy of elections in Africa. When not doing research, Nicholas is busy watching or playing football (soccer).
