Hendrickson, Petra

Petra Hendrickson began her Ph.D. at Michigan State in fall 2008. Originally from Xenia, Ohio, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Indiana State University In Terre Haute, Ind., in May 2008. As an undergraduate, she presented papers at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research and International Studies Association-Midwest, and a poster at the Midwest Political Science Association. Her major field is comparative politics, and her research interests focus on ethnic conflict, genocide and civil war especially factors affecting the severity of these events. Insofar as she has a regional emphasis, Petra is particularly interested in Southeastern Europe and Southeast Asia. Her minor field is research methods.
