Bret Greenacre graduated from Northwestern University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Sociology, as well as an Integrated Marketing Communications Certificate. During his time there, he studied marketing abroad in China and wrote articles featured on AOL and MSN while interning for Graphiq, a former data visualization company in California. Upon graduation, he worked at 9&10 News in Northern Michigan, where he produced the station’s coverage of gubernatorial debates ahead of the 2018 election.
Bret entered the Master of Public Policy program in the fall of 2019. His interests include policy issues at the state and local levels, along with data analytics and election policy. Bret hopes to work as a policy analyst with the goal of reducing political polarization in Michigan, potentially earning a Ph.D. along the way.
