Caleb Lucas

PhD Student

Caleb Lucas joined the department as a Distinguished University Fellow in the Fall of 2016 to study international relations and research methodology. His substantive research interests are broadly related to violent non-state actors, human migration, and Middle Eastern politics. Methodologically, he is interested in text analysis with Arabic and the use of social media in political science research. Caleb graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a degree in international studies. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and traveling.
