Cody Proudfoot will be a 2018 graduate of Michigan State University with a major in public policy, and he will begin his Master’s in Public Policy through the linked program in the fall of 2017. His policy interests include economics, persons with disabilities, and campaign finance. His prior research experience focuses on policy surrounding persons with disabilities and the Workforce Innovation, and Opportunity Act. Cody currently works for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, he and has done research for Michigan State University on multiple occasions, focusing on the Judicial and Executive branches of government. During the Spring of 2017, Cody interned at the lobbying firm of Kelley-Cawthorne as part of the Michigan Government Semester Program. Cody is originally from Morrice, Michigan. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, hunting, and playing sports.
