BIOGRAPHY

Angelina Benli joined the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University in the Fall 2022. She is a research fellow at the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research (IPPSR). She is a New York City native and obtained her B.A. in Criminology and Forensic Psychology (with honors) from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is interested in American Politics, specifically redistricting, elections, and voting at the state and local level. Outside of academia, she enjoys the completing the New York Times crossword and making jam.
