BIOGRAPHY
Karessa comes to the Department of Political Science from the Environmental Science and Policy Program where she served as communications and outreach specialist for 7 years. She has bachelors' degrees in Journalism and Anthropology from MSU and a master's degree in Environmental Journalism, also from MSU. She was worked as an environmental journalist in Maryland and Michigan. She and her husband, Brian Wheeler, live in East Lansing with their three children and countless pets.
