Ellery Johnson

Ellery Johnson graduated Michigan State University with degrees in International Relations and Comparative Cultures and Politics from James Madison College. Prior to entering the MPP program, Ellery interned at the Refugee Development Center, Bath Charter Township Planning Department, Michigan Association of Counties, and MSU’s Office of International Health and Safety.  Ellery’s policy interests center on technology, media, human rights, foreign policy, and social services. Ellery’s MPP capstone project examines restrictions to broadband access in the United State through dimensions of net neutrality, internet service providers (ISPs) monopolies, and the digital divide. Ellery is passionate about making the world a better place through evidence-based policy
