Jack Harris graduated from Michigan State University where he was a dual major in comparative cultures and politics/international relations. His two policy interests as a result of his dual major are international security as well as peacekeeping during domestic conflicts in developing states. During his time as an undergraduate he was a special projects intern at Lezotte Miller Public Relations Inc. dealing with research, interviews and news releases. This past year he contributed his fourth year of research on his two-part case study involving capital flight, gang violence, and gentrification in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. During this time he also was franchise administrator for the Grand Haven-Port City Little Caesars Pizza Enterprise. Jack plans to seek employment with the state department, or an NGO that will allow him to pursue his policy interests and possibly continue on to a Ph.D.
