Simon Schuster is a 2016 graduate of Michigan State University where he majored in Social Relation and Policy with a minor in Science, Technology, Environment and Public Policy. Simon entered the MPP program in the fall of 2017. His policy and research interests include the integration of behavioral economics into land-use policy and transportation infrastructures. Prior to entering the MPP program, Simon worked as a journalist covering politics and policy, and as a research contractor analyzing corporate sustainability policies. He was raised in the Metro Detroit area.
In his spare time, Simon can be found on a trail backpacking, exploring a museum or sampling a new cuisine.
He expects to complete the program in spring 2019 and hopes to continue pursuing a marriage of writing and research. His LinkedIn account can be found here.
