Thomas Morgan entered the MPP program in the fall of 2016. His policy interests include education policy and economic development. A 2005 MSU graduate with a major in journalism, Thomas has worked as a newspaper reporter at the (Lansing) City Pulse, an account executive with Byrum & Fisk Communications and in public affairs at the Michigan Education Association. He now works in communications at the Michigan Education Special Services Association.
Originally from Grand Rapids, Thomas serves on the Ingham County Economic Development Corp. Board of Directors, the Ingham County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and on the board of Capital Area Local First. He has also served on the East Lansing Planning Commission and the Ingham County Equal Opportunity Committee.
