William Isaac is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of political science at Michigan State University where he studies American Politics and public policy. His research focuses on political behavior & psychology, policy design, and experimental & survey methodology. Currently, his research includes environmental, energy, economic development and housing policy. Prior to joining the program in 2012, William received his BA from the University of Alabama and his MPP from George Mason University. After receiving his Masters in Public Policy, William worked as a research assistant for the Washington DC based environmental research institute, Resources for the Future, consulting on survey projects for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. William’s outside interests include biking, tennis, and traveling. He lives with his wife Bobbi and dog Bailey.
