Emily Doebler graduated in 2018 from Central Michigan University with a major in political science and a minor in philosophy. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she discovered a keen interest in the world of public policy. Emily strives to work in policy fields that deal with criminal justice reform, social injustice, and citizens’ engagement in their communities. After completing her undergraduate education, Emily gained employment at the Saginaw County Prosecutor’s Office working in the Appellate Division where she interacted daily with the criminal justice system first hand. She now works at the Ennis Center for Children, assisting in the Adoption and Foster Care departments. After graduating, Emily hopes to work for an organization that focuses on human rights, criminal justice reform, or a community based center that prioritizes its citizens' concerns and interests. Additionally, Emily would like to work in the legislature promoting policy that betters human welfare.
