U.S. Rep. James E. Clyburn to speak at MSU’s Governor Jim Blanchard Public Service Forum

 James E. Clyburn, Majority Whip in the United States House of Representatives, will speak at the Wharton Center at 7:30 pm on Monday, November 8th, as a special guest of the Governor Jim Blanchard Public Service Forum. Tickets will go on sale Friday, October 15th, 2021.

Former Michigan Governor Jim Blanchard will host this conversational style forum, featuring Congressman Clyburn who is the third-ranking Democrat in the United States House of Representatives, and currently serves as the Chairman of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis. He is also the Chairman of the Rural Broadband Task Force and Democratic Faith Working Group.

“Congressman Clyburn is not only a leader in congress and a lifelong advocate for civil rights and education, but one of the most influential leaders of our time,” said Blanchard.

Tickets are $25 for the general public and $5 for MSU Students and will be available for purchase on October 15, 2021 at whartoncenter.com
