MGSP Spotlight: Jolie Lawrence

MSU PLS is pleased to announce the runner up of the 2023 MGSP Scholarship is senior Jolie Lawrence. Jolie is studying Political Science Pre-Law at Michigan State University. She has previously worked for Senator Sam Singh. She is very interested in policy issues such as climate change, capitol punishment, and women’s rights. Jolie is also a part of MSU’s student cohort for the Women’s Leadership Institute. Once she graduates, she plans to attend law school so she can serve and fight for her community. 

She is currently interning with State Senator Sylvia Santana.
