Ryan Mondalek graduated from Michigan State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in World Politics. During this time as an undergrad, Ryan studied abroad in the United Kingdom, focusing on parliamentary democracy and the effects of Brexit. He also participated in an internship at Snap Terminal, an analysis company in Dearborn. This job involved open-source intelligence analysis, creating presentations, and delivering lectures on topics ranging from China, Middle East conflicts, and domestic terrorism. 

Ryan entered the MPP program in the Fall of 2021. Ryan's primary policy interests are foreign and defense policy, with a focus on those surrounding the Middle East and East Asia. Other policy interests include domestic security and infrastructure. 

 In his free time, Ryan also enjoys outdoor sports, participating in Lebanese cultural events, and public speaking. He previously worked as a Living-History Presenter at The Henry Ford Museum's Greenfield Village, fulfilling his love of both history and public education. 

Upon graduation, Ryan plans to pursue careers in the State Department or within the intelligence community.
