Epistemic Injustice in Classical Political Thought

Please join James Madison College on Friday, April 18, for the third meeting of the JMC Political Theory Colloquium (3 to 5 p.m., JMC Library, Third Floor of Case Hall), to discuss Rachael Finlayson's paper Epistemic Injustice in Classical Political Thought (read paper via One Drive | MSU login required).

Rachel Finlayson is a political theorist working on topics in political epistemology, democratic theory, and political psychology. She is particularly interested in the ethics of belief, persuasion and open-mindedness. She is currently a PhD student at Columbia University, supervised by Karuna Mantena. Prior to Columbia, she completed an MPhil in Politics (Political Theory) at Oxford, where she was a Wadham College Senior Scholar.

Professor Guido Parietti and Prayag Shankar (PTCD) will serve as discussants.
