Please join us Thursday Jan. 15 at the East Lansing Public Library to discuss "The Central Park Five" (Ken Burns, David McMahon, Sarah Burns, 2012). This film tells the story of the five Black and Latino teenagers who were wrongly convicted of raping a white woman in New York City's Central Park in 1989. Watch segments of the documentary film and participate in a discussion lead by Dr. Nazita Lajevardi (Department of Political Science).
