December 19, 2024

Three PLS seniors are graduating this semester with perfect 4.0 grade point averages, earning them the Board of Trustees award.

Hannah M. Raymond, who earned a double major bachelor’s in political science and criminal justice from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Pflugerville, Texas.

Janey R. Salenbien, who earned a bachelor’s in political science-prelaw from the College of Social Science and is from Dundee, Michigan.

Nicholas W. Wiechec, who earned a bachelor’s in political science from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Bay City, Michigan.

They are among the seventy-seven fall semester graduates accomplished an enviable feat throughout their time at Michigan State University — earning a perfect GPA.

During its Dec. 13 meeting, the MSU Board of Trustees presented the graduating seniors with the Board of Trustees Award, which recognizes and honors their achievement of the highest scholastic average one can receive: a 4.0 GPA.

In addition to the award, the students will also be recognized during their individual commencement ceremonies in December and receive a special cord to adorn their robe.
