BIOGRAPHY

Thomas Antishin is a graduate of International Academy West. He is majoring in Political Science: Pre-Law and Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy with a minor in Philosophy and the Law. After completing his undergraduate studies, Thomas plans to earn a Juris Doctorate and work in criminal law as a defense attorney.

Thomas currently is an Intercultural Aide on Michigan State’s campus where he has interacted with people that come from many different backgrounds while also having the experience to learn about racial injustice not only in the United States but around the world. This, combined with his time in Michigan State’s Mock Trial program, has encouraged him to pursue a law degree in order to create a criminal justice system that values the person and works on community reform. Ultimately, Thomas aims to work on criminal appeals and aims to ensure law in America treats people equally.
