BIOGRAPHY
Jennifer Briones entered the PhD program in Political Science in the Fall of 2020. Jennifer is a Brooklyn native from New York City. Her primary field of study is International Relations with a focus on conflict. Specifically, her research interest is gender-based violence within conflict, primarily sexual violence committed by state and non-state actors. In May 2020, Jennifer graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo State College with a B.A. in International Relations, and a minor in Political Science. On her off-time, she enjoys reading Latinx literature in both English and Spanish, as well as spending time with her two dogs.
