BIOGRAPHY

Cesar Alejandro Bustamante is a first-year Master of Public Policy student at Michigan State University. He will graduate with a B.A. in political science in Summer 2026. Before graduate school, Cesar worked on a variety of campaigns over multiple election cycles for candidates such as Rashida Tlaib, Donavan McKinney, and Abdul El-Sayed. His policy interests are improving accessibility, healthcare, and transportation. Even though his plans after graduation are still yet to be solidified, he intends to work for progressive organizations and potentially run for public office.
