BIOGRAPHY

Ruby Doyle is a first-year Master of Public Policy student at Michigan State University. She earned her B.A. in music composition and sociology at Michigan State University. Ruby has worked with LGBTQ+ interest groups at MSU during her time as an undergraduate student, and joined the Salus Center in Lansing, focusing on organizing members of the local transgender community in social events, while providing gender affirming supplies for those in need. She is interested in researching healthcare policy, sustainable energy investment, and local action towards climate change preparation. As a transgender woman, Ruby seeks to help maintain Michigan's non-discriminatory policy towards LGBTQ+ people, while pushing heavily for sustainable energy policy in the state.
