LiChail Gaines is a first-year MPP student at Michigan State. She has a degree in History from the Michigan State University. Throughout her first two years of undergrad, LiChail served as a student assistant to Senator Dayna Polehanki. During the final two years she worked for Ashley Kuykendoll, the head of Equity and Inclusion for Michigans Department of Treasury. LiChail hopes to build strong connections with her peers so that she may contribute an informed opinion when making policy in the future.
