BIOGRAPHY
Aubrey George Ghambi is a Master of Public Policy student at Michigan State University, originally from Malawi. He earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from Blantyre International University and completed the Mandela Washington Fellowship in Public Management at Syracuse University. Before graduate school, Aubrey worked with Young Life Africa as a Developing Global Leaders Coordinator and Bookkeeper, where he mentored university students and managed financial operations. He currently serves as a Research Assistant with Afrobarometer, analyzing governance, democracy, and economic data across Africa, and has co-authored a published analysis on youth economic perspectives in Zambia. His research interests include youth development, education policy, and evidence-based governance. Beyond academia, Aubrey is an award-winning hip-hop artist known for using music to engage youth on social and economic issues in Malawi. After graduation, he plans to advance data-driven policy research that promotes inclusive development across Africa.
