BIOGRAPHY

Paige Haight joined the Ph.D. program at the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University in the fall of 2022. Her research interests include public policy development, implementation and policy research methodology. Specifically she is interested to learn about the processes of policy development, implementation, and the methods used to create policy in local, state, and federal governments.

Paige is an MSU alumni who received a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Program Evaluation. Ms. Haight is also a Research Associate at Public Policy Associates in Lansing, Michigan. This work includes research in criminal and juvenile policy, education and workforce policy, and healthy communities policy. Previously, Paige has worked with Dr. Kaston Anderson-Carpenter in the ACES lab at MSU, conducting research to help understand how social determinants of health contribute to the inequity among underserved populations; and investigate community factors that facilitate positive social and environmental change.
