BIOGRAPHY

Emma is a first-year Master of Public Policy student at Michigan State University. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers New Brunswick in New Jersey. Before graduate school, Emma interned at the Pompton Lakes Municipal Court and observed the Criminal division of the Middlesex County Court. These experiences shaped her interest in criminal justice reform and social justice initiatives. Her research interests include criminal justice reform, women's rights, and anti-corruption policy. After graduation, Emma plans on developing policies that focus on social justice initiatives by working with state government and other organizations that target inequities in communities.
