BIOGRAPHY
Alejandra López Villegas (ella/she/her) joined the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University in the fall of 2020. She studies democratic backsliding, gender politics, and the intersection between both dynamics. Prior to joining MSU, she completed her BA at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and her MA at Sciences Po.
