BIOGRAPHY

Lowell Monis, of Sharjah, UAE and Mangalore, India, is a graduate of Delhi Private School in Sharjah. He is now dual majoring in World Politics and Data Science and Computational and Applied Mathematics with a minor in SSQDA.

"My academic and research interests lie in methods, survey research, and international and comparative politics. Currently, I am focused on comparative democratic backsliding and the impact of legislature demographics on policy. I’m passionate about using advanced computational tools to understand political phenomena. Looking ahead, I aim to pursue graduate studies in the intersection of the computational sciences and politics, after an industry career in the data analytics or survey research field."
