BIOGRAPHY
Sofia joined the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University in Fall 2023 to study American politics. She is a Southern California native, which is where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, along with the completion of a minor in Psychology. This degree was achieved with the honor of Summa Cum Laude from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Sofia's research interests focus on the Supreme Court, particularly on opinion writing and judicial behavior. When she is not researching the Supreme Court, Sofia enjoys watching movies and taking care of her birds.
