BIOGRAPHY

Savanna Seeling is a graduate of Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan who is pursuing a B.A. in Political Science - Prelaw and a B.S. in Environmental Geosciences, with a minor in Business.

Her current political interests are surrounding environmental policy and how to allow for the coexistence of humans and environment in a sustainable way. She will be interning at the Michigan House of Representatives this summer for Speaker Hall’s office and is excited for the opportunity to connect her classroom education to real world experiences in the legislature. As part of the Honors College, she will conduct research in international trade and sustainability under Dr. Olabisi this upcoming semester and hopes to have other research opportunities as an undergraduate student in both politics and environmental science.

Savanna hopes to continue her education by attending law school, with a focus in environmental policy, or by pursuing higher education in the field of hydrology.
