BIOGRAPHY

Satyam Sinha is a graduate of Troy High School, now double majoring in Political Science and Philosophy. His research has explored democratic backsliding and the role of social media in India, the intersection of contemporary Analytic epistemology with classical Indian epistemology, and Kantian international relations. He is also broadly interested in political philosophy, particularly issues such as global justice, normative theories of international relations, and the role of morality in public policy — especially how principles of justice might be applied globally and the implications this has for international relations and policymaking in response to global challenges like the refugee crisis and the pursuit of perpetual peace. After graduation, he aims to either continue working in public policy and eventually pursue a master’s in public policy or international relations, or to pursue a Ph.D. in political philosophy with the goal of becoming a professor.
