BIOGRAPHY
Sarah Thomas is a violin teacher who received her Bachelors in Political Science from Michigan State University in 2024. After years of working in Flint, Michigan as a Mariachi performer and educator, Sarah is excited to return to MSU as a first-year Master of Public Policy student. Inspired by her history of working with students across diverse backgrounds, as well as her own experience with education barriers, Sarah hopes to explore policies and issues relating to equal accessibility to quality education. Currently working as a Legal Assistant in addition to attending graduate school, she is also deeply interested in the intersections between law and public policy—aspiring to go on to attend law school following completion of her masters.
