BIOGRAPHY
Li-Hong joined the Ph.D. program in the fall of 2022. He studies comparative politics and electoral politics. He is especially interested in East Asia politics, clientelism, and corruption.
Before joining the department, Li-Hong received his B.A. in Political Science and in Philosophy with honors from National Chengchi University (Taiwan) and M.A. in Political Science from National Taiwan University (Taiwan). His master thesis won the 2021 Annual Master Thesis Award given by the Taiwanese Political Science Association. His publications have appeared in Taiwan Democracy Quarterly and Journal of Democracy and Governance.
