BIOGRAPHY

Josey Young is a first-year Master of Public Policy student at Michigan State University. While working full-time, Josey earned her B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Over the years she has dedicated her time and talents to volunteerism, which has helped her realize where her passions are. Josey has served on committees for supporting food security, empowering women and children, community impact, legislative engagement and Capitol Days which have been the catalyst for Josey to decide to pursue a public policy degree. After graduation, Josey will be supporting causes that she is passionate about including housing initiatives, food security, environmental protections and the development of the next generation of female leaders. Josey believes that we will be the change we want to see in the world and is determined to make a positive impact on her community through earning her Master of Public Policy degree.
