Majors: Political Science and Journalism. Minors: Media Photography, Race and Ethnicity in the United States. Future Plans: I will be continuing my education at Michigan State University for one additional year, completing a linked BA-MA program in the School of Journalism. While doing this, I plan to continue freelancing for various local news outlets, including the Michigan Advance and Flint Beat, while covering the midterm elections. Favorite PLS Class: I really enjoyed PLS 392, a Special Topics course. This was my final PLS course before graduating. I had initially intended to switch into another section, but ended up sticking with the one focused on experiencing authoritarianism because the professor and in-class discussions were both great. Favorite MSU Memory: Hosting unnecessarily long study hours for a freshman level 100 PLS class. MSU Accomplishments: Getting multiple semesters with a flat 4.0 after never getting a single 4.0 in high school. Favorite Quote: I hate politics but I love political science. Class of 2022

Favorite PLS Class: I really enjoyed PLS 422, I loved debating and making friends, and the professor was very good as well. Favorite MSU Memory: I really loved painting the rock for my 21st birthday. MSU Accomplishments: defensive lineman for the MSU Club F ootball team; law intern with Okemos Legal Group PLLC; member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at MSU; Student Leader with Martin Luther Chapel for 3 years with their RSO. I hope to ultimately return to academia and pursue my PhD in Political Philosophy.
