The following is a half-hour virtual workshop to assist students in putting their best selves forward via their resumes and cover letters in search of a meaningful internship or job. The workshop also includes tips on honing your elevator pitch and preparing for an interview for an internship or job.
We will inform students via email regularly of the latest internship and job opportunities. In addition, MPP students can access a curated list of common internships in state and local government offices, policy think tanks, research entities, lobbying firms, nonprofits, and other agencies.

MSU Career Services Network offers career advising, career events, career workshop, assistance with resumes and cover letters, and interviewing tips and practice. Their career management system, called “Handshake,” provides listings for employment and internships
