Program Admissions and Application Deadlines:

The Department of Political Science at Michigan State University is not planning to admit PhD students in the current recruitment cycle for students entering the 2025-2026 academic year. We are currently engaging in curriculum and programmatic changes to improve training and student success. Graduate admissions for the PhD program will restart for the 2026-2027 academic year, with applications due Dec. 2, 2025.
